Robert Babylon Exhibits at Seattle (WA) Erotic Art Festival
Good luck they say come in threes and I’ll agree since this is my third year exhibiting at the mighty Seattle Erotica Arts Festival (SEAF) and this year the judges have accepted three of my most popular photographs onto their hallowed walls for exhibition and sale.
2016 Festival will be hosted on April 22-24 at the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall.
Tickets are on sale now from the SEAF Website.
About SEAF:
The Seattle Erotic Art Festival is an experience unlike any other festival or gallery you have likely ever attended. Over the course of three days, a curated selection of some of the finest erotic art the world has to offer will grace the floors of the Seattle Center Exhibition Hall, awaiting your perusal and enjoyment.
During regular festival hours, you are invited to view the art and daily entertainments, from poetry readings to pantomime to acrobatic displays. There is also the Festival Store, where you can often find prints by the artists featured in the festival as well as other unique items and annual Seattle Erotic Art Festival merchandise. In the evenings, the vibe changes from a gallery to sexy art party. The Late Night Festival is a sexy, fun time with DJs, performers, bartenders at the ready, and a fantastically energetic crowd.
The Festival art will engage you, titillate you, and make you think. Not every piece is to everyone’s tastes, but there is something there that will speak to you – and what doesn’t can lead to some fascinating conversations. Whether you are joining us for the first time and new to the sex positive community, or have attended these events for years – this festival is for you.

RB Work Available at 12 Inches of Sin’s IMMERSIVE in Las Vegas
If there’s still a taboo around erotic art in Las Vegas, rest assured: Dr. Laura Henkel is breaking it. The curator and specialist in human sexuality helms the Sin City Gallery. She also runs 12 Inches of Sin, an annual juried erotic art exhibition. Now, for the competition’s fifth year, an immersive art experience will accompany the annual competition.
My work will be amongst the 300 works of erotic art included in the evenings festivities.
For the April 9 event, Dr. Henkel is taking over the entire Arts Factory complex, the converted warehouse where Sin City Gallery is located, amongst other fine art studios and commercial galleries. She hopes to encourage Las Vegas’ downtown arts scene, and from 1 PM to midnight, the complex will be filled with visual and performance art, lectures, and live entertainment.
“Sin City Gallery is dedicated to providing a serious professional forum, exhibit space, and series of publications for practitioners of provocative art who have too long been marginalized or excluded from so much of the art world,” reads a press release for the event.
