“Far From Grey” Solo Exhibition at Harmony Store in Soho, London

Harmony’s new boutique store on the edge of Soho (99a Charing X Rd) will be offering a new dimension to their customers’ fetish fantasies with the opening of ‘Far From Grey’ on Tuesday 1st April, an exhibition by erotic photographer and artist Robert Babylon.

Robert’s unique, beautiful and extremely sexy artwork will adorn the walls and be available for sale and to order for the next two months. His award winning neon artwork has been exhibited and published around the world, including a solo exhibition at the World Erotic Art Museum on South Beach, Miami USA and in 2012 two pieces of Robert’s work were added to the permanent collection of Dr Naomi Wilzig – the 4th largest collection of fine-art erotica in the World.

There will be a “Meet the Artist” evening on Thursday April 3rd from 17:00 to about 21:00. Please RSVP to attend (and for further information) to Rose Crompton, rose@harmonyuk.com 07786068341.

Far From Grey Exhibition at Harmony Store

Speaking about the upcoming display, Robert said: “My work is designed to appeal to all genders and sexualities and I have always believed that erotica should be enjoyed by everyone. By displaying in Harmony’s Boutique Soho store I hope it will enable people unfamiliar with erotic art work to get a taste for it and offer regular visitors to Soho a chance to see something new.”

Hosting art exhibitions is a first for Harmony, but Simon Pope, buyer for the brand, believes mixing erotic art with intimate items is a formulae that can’t fail: “We sell personal items designed to physically arouse and simulate. Good erotic art is all about stimulating the mind and imagination to get lovers in the mood, which Robert’s work certainly manages to achieve. Combining the physical and the fantasy makes perfect sense and is why hosting an exhibition and selling high-quality erotic art in Harmony works so well. We’re very excited about displaying Robert’s work.”
