After a sunny seaside exhibition at the Brighton Fetish Weekend I will be exhibiting my UV and traditionsl artwork at the Sh! Women’s Erotic Emporium in Hoxton Square, London throughout the whole of September. Sh! is the UK’s first ever sex shop for women, opened in 1992 as an antidote to sleazy male-orientated shops. The vision was simple: to create a safe, welcoming environment in which women can shop guilt-free for good quality playthings.

I am very proud that I have more women than men on my client list, my vision is to offer fine art erotica that celebrates and individualises the models rather than degrading them and provides erotica that women can enjoy as much as men.

Sh! is staffed by an all-female team who create a comfortable atmosphere and sensitively advise on sex toys, sexual pleasure and safe sex whatever their customers’ age, sexual persuasion, background or culture. Time out named it “The Best Sex Shop for Women” and ranked it in the 100 top shops in London. The Sh! mission is to enhance & celebrate sexuality which is why no ‘realistic’, blow-up, unsafe or low-quality toys make the Sh! stock list and Cert 18 porn is female-made.

The Guild of Erotic Artists will be holding an exhibition of fine art erotica; “Temptation” at The Strand Gallery, London WC2

The exhibition consists of over 250 pieces of Guild Members artwork, including oils, acrylics, pencils, prints, photographic prints, sculptures and digital art from over 24 artists including: Robert Babylon, Paul John Ballard, Jeff Wack, Ric Savage, Gregory Brown, Linda Johnson, John Evans and Len Gifford.

The Sin City Gallery in Las Vegas received so many wonderful art submissions for the ‘12 Inches of Sin’ exhibition that they created ‘Le Salon Des Refusés Du Péché’ exhibition too. Robert Babylon’s work is featured in ‘Le Salon Des Refusés Du Péché’ exhibition which runs from 6th June – 16th July.

Robert Babylon’s artwork is available through Sin City gallery in Las Vegas. Sin City Gallery has been named ‘Best Gallery’ in Nevada. American Arts Awards president Thom Bierdz announced Sin City Gallery is one of the 25 Best Galleries In America for 2013. Bierdz explains, “Sin City Gallery is a rapidly growing establishment offering complex, scintillating and irreverent art that is widely collected locally, nationally and even internationally”.  So what ‘art’  happens in Vegas, does not necessarily stay in Vegas.”

I will be attending and exhibiting at the Brighton Fetish Weekend which starts with an opening party on Friday 28th and ends with a fetish market and after-party on Sunday 30th June. I will have over 150 pieces of my photographic work showing on the overhead screens during the Spank Ball on Saturday night and a UV installation premiering three new paintings at the Sensual Feast on Saturday afternoon. For the rest of the weekend I shall be around the events and look forward to meeting old friends and new.

DJ Terri will play tunes in-between demo’s and workshops so you can tap your toes while chatting to friends or talking to the experts in each field. A wide range of over 150 pieces of Robert Babylon’s UV artwork will be on display at The Red Hand Gallery in Denver Colorado in the US on Friday 5th April.

The Red Hand gallery will be featuring kinky art and performance that glows! Wear your neon, your UV reactive whatever you have, neon duct tape, bring out the glow rope and get busy!! There will be a neon paint in a balloon demonstration involving messy play! There will be neon rope bondage and all sorts of fun glowing stuff!! The 12″ of Sin exhibition has offically opened and I would like to thank Dr Laura Henkel and all the staff at the Sin City Gallery and the Artifice Bar in Las Vegas for arranging such a great opening night, making us so welcome and proving that Las Vegas does have culture.

Jeff Wack won best in show and gets a solo exhibition next year. This exhibition continues until 20th April and features ‘Bubbles’, one of the two pieces of my artwork that won places in the 12″ Sin juried exhibition of, sophisticated, intelligent and clever artworks no larger than 12” (inches) square from around the world. The second piece of my work ‘Pink Bits’ will be featured in exhibitions in Las Vegas and San Francisco later this year.
